Flying with Eagles

Over the past couple of months we have had many young men achieve the rank of Eagle. While not an easy task, it is with great pride that we have been able to travel along beside these young men as they have risen from boys to young leaders. Each rising at their own pace, and each pursuing the activities that have interested them and then sharing them with one another.

We believe that the continued success (>70%) of our scouts achieving the rank of Eagle is rooted in positive peer commitment, investment in quality tools, flexible structure, and significant parent support.

In addition to learning, our Eagles have made significant commitments to the community. The Eagle Projects, these young men have pursued will continue to enrich the community for many years. While there is no specific size requirement for these projects, we are proud that our scouts continue to seek to leave bigger marks in the community.

Projects have included:

- Raised gardens

- Community fire pits

- Park benches & tables

- Disc golf course refurbishment

- Duck houses

- Bat houses

- Baseball dugout refurbishment

- Trails

- and more
